Knitting Project One in Progress

Here is my first knitted project. It will be sewn into a small bag then fulled (washing machine felted). Due to shrinkage it may end up just big enough to hold a cell phone.

I was struggling with tension and it started off with too-tight stitches. Due to the fulling that will be done none of the stitches will be seen in the finished product. Therefore my imperfections will not be evident!

Hey, that looks exactly like a first knitting project should! Three cheers for the new knitter!

Looks like you're off to a great start on your felting project. I too have started felting and it's so much fun. Your projects do shrink lots in the washer. I have posted a mini tutorial here if you'd like to read about my first project.

It's as you said, your stitches don't show and it's like magic when you pull it out of the washer. Good luck and post your final product.
